To get to the other side where the plants were less protected,! Seriously though, the constant influx of these little guys is no joke during the growing season. If only they could get a sense of the debate around crop protection strategies before making their move.
Absolutely I feel you on the aphid invasion during the growing season! We tried introducing ladybugs as a natural control — worked wonders for us but it took a while for them to settle in… Just wish those aphids had a better sense of timing, especially with crops coming into peak season.
I hear you! Those aphids can really take over fast. We found using neem oil helped a lot during the peak season — totally worth a shot.
Funny you mention the aphid invasion — i’ve had great luck using insecticidal soap when things got out of hand last summer. It really helped knock them back without harming any of the beneficial insects, which is key.
